MGM’s new chairperson Mary Parent held a conference to discuss the studio’s future plans, which might include another “Rocky” movie. When asked for a show of hands from the audience who might be into that, she received “few very enthusiastic responses,” reports IndieWire. “Many kept quiet.”

Since The Weinstein Company wants to continue the “Rambo” franchise, it seems that everyone believes that Sylvester Stallone is not quite finished playing these iconic characters. Even at the age of 62 (in July).

Which direction the new “Rocky” movie will head is still anyone’s guess. There might be a spin-off with Rocky’s son, a TV series or maybe even a remake. Stay tuned.
